A godsend to me
When I first came to Eastover psychiatric and met him, I thought the same thing that everyone else seems to be putting on here. He seemed cold. He seemed distant. It was as though he was not listening or I was not important enough for him to look at. When it was finally mentioned to him by someone I had confided in and I had given permission to tell him of the situation. From that point on he turned and he looked at me. He talked to me. He listened to me.I had gone through five other psychiatrists who kept throwing medications at me that weren't doing any good and even one of them told me that I was on all the right medications I just wasn't trying hard enough. Well, as many of you will attest, you can try with every fiber in you but if your medications are not correct it will not help you.He worked with, listen to, and was able to find the right medications to help me.

I was very uncomfortable during the visits, as he would not take time to listen or offer feedback. This was one of the biggest wastes of time in trying to find a good health care professional. I felt like I was a big bother to him. I am very busy, and I need someone to listen and offer sound advice - I am sorry that I wasted my time. I should have done more research because others have had the same experience. Sad.

Does not seem interested in patient and lack of concern for reaching out to understand the issues and challenges facing the patient. I would not recommend to young people.

What a waste of time. Took my time completing the paperwork, thoroughly explained all of my concerns and issues. His advice was to join a 12 step program. And that was it. No offer of help or guidance. He was bumbling and disorganized-- there were only two people in the waiting room, my friend and I, and he walked right past us. Walked up to the receptionist, who pointed us out. He still looked confused when he called my name. Keep moving and look elsewhere for someone who wants to help.

I have been in and out of the hospital my whole life. My family has always tried to run my life and dictate what I was to do what meds I could take they even came to talk to dr Wallace he listened politely but that was all he stayed on course with me. He didn't do anything they wanted. I was so happy! He is a great doctor who listens to me and is very caring! He is wise and has a great sense of humor! I felt like I was in the best hands when he listened to me his patient not my overbearing famil

I saw Dr. Wallace once and this is why. When I went to my appointment I was absolutely shocked by the behavior of this doctor. He never looked at me, never made eye contact, not one time. His back was turned to me and he was playing with his new iPhone. He changed my medication, even though I wasn't experiencing any problems. I have been involved with psychiatrists and therapists for about 35 years and I have never experienced the shockingly terrible treatment that I received that day.
