Best pediatrician anywhere
Dr Shander was my children's pediatrician for 18 years. He was always so thorough and ensured my children's health was a top priority. My son had a rare viral infection that he diagnosed in one visit. The first visit to the ER regarding symptoms related to the virus resulted in not one provider there having any does what was wrong. Dr Shander was the only one who was able to diagnose him. Dr Shander is not only an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced physician, he cares very much for his patients and always ensures he takes exemplary care of them no matter how much time it takes. He will always prioritize you. He is simply the best.

Dr Shander has consistently over the years been an advocate for me and my kids. When I'm talking to him, I feel like he treats me like a long-term family friend. He explains everything, counsels, supports, advises and encourages me and my kids in such a gentle manner; he truly has a gift and passion for nurturing healthy and happy families. I would encourage anyone looking for a pediatrician to see Dr Shander. I will never trust my kids to anyone else!

I have been seeing Dr. Shander for the past 18 years and am sad to move onto an adult doctor. He is the most incredible pediatrician- a caring, dedicated man who can simultaneously put children at ease while giving the parents what they need to know. He is so personally invested: when I had a rare blood disorder as a complication of mono and needed steroids re-prescribed ASAP, he left a family gathering to see and help me. I trust my life to Dr. Shander.
