Interrogation or Dr. Visit?
My own doctor was out in maternity leave and they referred me to this person. I complained of NO stomach issues, but he ordered me to a gastroenterologist AND a geneticist AND for a chest x-ray. I’m sorry, but I don’t make enough money to spend all of it seeing doctors for non-existent issues. Also, I don’t want to spend my time in waiting rooms seeing doctors for non-existent issues, as I work full-time. This person is extremely out of touch with reality. I have long-standing anxiety and he only gave me a portion of my anti-anxiety pills. He’s a terrible person to see for someone that is hesitant about doctors in the first place. I don’t recommend him at all. I felt like I was being interrogated and judged the entire time, and he never addressed the actual issue I was there for. What a waste of time and money! If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

I had to see him because my NP was on leave and I needed a refill of my BP meds. He’s rude, doesn’t listen and wouldn’t listen to my concerns. I will not see him again. He needs to learn some bedside manners.

Patients Beware!
Arrived at 10:40 am, appointment scheduled at 11:15 am, and wasn't seen. I just left at 12 noon after sitting for an over extended period of time. Not even a courtesy check to advise the status of the physician. Just a horrible experience and the staff is just a reflection of the physician they work for and vice versa. Very unprofessional and insensitive to patient needs. Stay away if you want quality care!

I’ve given Dr simantrakis a few tries only to be let down EVERY SINGLE TIME. He is rude and judge mental. Last year I had appendicitis and he would not admit me to the ER because I hadn’t recently been in his office. Therefore I had to pay a huge ER bill. This year he refused to help me with any anxiety and kept pushing me to see a psychiatrist which I refused. He would gladly prescribed my anti-depressant meds that I adamantly states I did not want. He does not listen only judges. I would not recommend him to anyone

After a time of going to him he double charged me.I went in and needed my yearly prescriptions filled and he billed for the wellness visit AND a regular visit. He used to write the prescriptions and I would only have to go back yearly. Now he has decided will only write prescriptions for 6 months. That way you have to go back in for another paid visit and blood work. No reason for this, only that he wants more money. Prescriptions haven't changed. Won't be going back there. Run. Rip off.

Not happy with Dr. Simantirakis. I received a bill for a double office visit because my husband went in for an annual exam, flu shot and whooping cough shot and discussed subjects outside of the physical exam (i.e., lactose intolerance and knee pain), so apparently that warranted a separate office visit fee for the 2 minutes of additional talking that was involved. Not cool and we will definitely be looking for different doctor who isn't trying to make an extra buck where he can--despicable.
