At least three eye doctors were unable to diagnose the disease I have in both my eyes. My husband and I drove from the Greensboro area to Lexington to see Dr. Slyman, where during the first visit, he diagnosed a hereditary disease in both of my eyes. He referred me to NC Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, and in the past three years, Matt Gigengach, MD has performed a cornea transplant to both eyes. Now my vision is near perfect in both eyes, and I am no longer in pain. Thank you, Dr. Slyman!

I have been a patient of Dr. Slyman's for more than 30 years. He is an exception doctor and has taken great care of my eyes. The cataract surgery I had went very well, and I feel like I have brand new eyes!

I have been a patient of Dr. Slyman for over 25 years. From my initial glasses as a child, to contact lenses and regular check ups, I have been blown away by how thorough the care is. During checkups I do not feel rushed, and I know that Dr. Slyman and his staff care enough to spend a little extra time with me each visit. Even so, the wait times have always been very reasonable for me. Dr. Slyman and his team are the only practice I'd trust with my eye care.

Dr. Slyman has been my Opthamologist for over 35 years. I have had several corrective eye surgeries, and I have had annual eye exams during that time. The care I have received over the years leaves me feeling confident and trusting. He provides excellent and thorough examinations. It has been worth the 20 miles one way over theses past years.
