successful surgery
Dr Weimar performed a laminectomy between L4-L5 and L-5 S-1 on me in January 2022. Before the surgery I was in extreme pain and had difficulty walking out to the mailbox and back. Now, 4 months later, I'm walking 1.5 to 2.5 miles a day and slowly starting to enjoy and participate in everyday activities. In my case, Dr Weimar gave me back my life (I'm 69 years old). Also a shout out to this PA Tony who is excellent and quite patient about answering questions and giving helpful advice.

Tony was great. Although he was very competent, I would like to have seen Dr. Weimar more often.

I had 2 surgery from this man.. both surgeries did not help my back and leg pain..he works for worker’s compensation..he will do as little as possible to help you!! You see him one time the rest of the appointments is with the PA ..He is not a good back surgeon I was in so much pain after the 2 Nd surgery and I laid in my bed that night for a hour and half waiting on pain meds..very short staffed and there were other people that needed help from the nurse..I would never recommend the spine surgical hospital or Dr Weimar.. I’m not surprised he rating is so low! People do your research before you have a doctor do surgery on your back..I did not chose this surgeon workers compensation pick him! Get a good attoney that will fight for you and never use this surgeon if I knew what I know now look at his low rating..

Kept me waiting for hours for a morning appointment, did not do any evaluation of me himself which he lies about in his report (some helper poked at me for about 10 min), Rude to me, made numerous blatant lies in his report , had zero interest in the medical reports, scans and tests I provided and wouldn’t answer a single question. Storming out of the room after only about 3 minutes with the phrase “I don’t know why you're not listening to me since your fate is in our hands”.

Refuses to take responsibility or offer any solutions for post-op complications, going so far as to hiding most damaging parts of specialized tests. (He didn't know I already had a copy of report) Everything is geared to how precious his time is from having to come in and sit for 30 min before your appointment to not getting test results for 2 months because if he called you with the results, he might have to repeat parts of the explanation at an office visit and therefore waste his time.
