Dr. Weisbard was, for several years, at the clinic where I received most of my medical care. He might strike you as an odd duck at first but he is really, really smart, attentive, knowledgeable, compassionate, and very conscientious. He actually thinks through what he prescribes. He really helped me at a time when I was under an overwhelming pile-on of stressors. He explained things about it the meds he is was giving me, involved me in the process and also helped me to become knowledgeable about my ADHD, in addition to the other issues I was facing. In fact, I don't think I have seen any other medical professional that actually understands ADHD as well as he does. While I have nothing against the people that replaced him after he left that clinic, I have not had a psychiatric provider since that has come close to his caliber.
