Dr. Wendelken is very caring about his patients. I've been going to him for several years and I don't think you can find a better urologist. He has always taken the time to thoroughly answer any questions I may have, and that may be why his appointments run late because I imagine he does that for all his patients.

I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork then I waited 1.5 hours to be seen. They cycled through the waiting room twice and still didn’t call my name. I asked if there was any particular reason I was being ignored but wasn't given a satisfactory answer. Four patients later they still hadn’t called my name. I cancelled my appointment and got my copay back. The doctor said to me as I was walking out "that's OK...there are plenty of other patients out there." Not exactly professional.

Waited over an hour after my set appointment. Got to see the doc to get questions answered. He's got a very high opinion of himself. Then when I wanted to get my convalescent leave paperwork signed for the military, they said they would not do it without a $40 payment. My patient advocate told me that was illegal. Called Tricare and changed my referral to a better doctor. This guy is a crook.

We never asked dr a question without him getting offended and more than 2 months later, I still have kidney stones! Three mess-ups in scheduling-two with procedures and one an office visit. Seems to be little communication and organization with him and staff. We will not be back.

Second visit to ask a question, and waited 45 min beyond apointment time. I asked if I should be rescheduled and was told no, that he would be with me shortly. Waited an additional 10 min and finally had to leave due to other commitments. I will find another doctor.
