Dr. James Yoo, DO

I have been a patient with Dr. Yoo since 2019. I have had a horrible experience with getting a response from the office! I went in on a Monday to see the PA and was told what I had was probably a virus but to call if I started having fever or a productive cough. I called back on Friday morning and they didn't return the call until Monday morning. By that time, I had already gone elsewhere. This isn't the first time this has happened. It seems to be the norm. I thought that once they moved to their own office, things would change but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I am only getting to know this doctor (& vice versa) - I rarely, if ever, recommend a doctor unless I have more long-term interaction with them, but Dr. Yoo is providing excellent service so far and I appreciate his thoroughness.

Dr Yoo is very comprehensive in his approach to addressing the issues that ail you. Dr Yoo is never rushed in his office visit and listens to your concerns. I’m very happy being a patient of Dr Yoo.

He is very knowledgeable and, if there are options, he gives you the choice to make an informed decision.. He is calm, relaxed and thorough. you do NOT have the feeling that he is rushed and has to move on to the next patient.

I felt he was thorough, asked me questions about my medical condition and explained treatment plan and what to expect. He was not rushing thru the appointment.

Dr. Yoo spent a solid 20-25 minutes talking with my and doing the physical. Most of it was spent answering questions I had. The last few times I've gone into see a doctor I've felt rushed, like I was lucky for them to spend 5 minutes with me. Dr. Yoo is professional & knowledgeable.
