Horrible Practice
Do not under any circumstances allow yourself or a loved one to book an appointment. This practice is horribly run, it's impossible to communicate, and wait times are ridiculous.

I was checked in 15 minutes early for my 10;15 appointment. I then sat in the waiting room until 10;50 before being called into an exam room. Doctor Young showed up at 11:10 , 50 minutes after my appointment. No apology for being late. also, Having a woman note taker in the room for my exam was uncomfortable while i was naked. DR young should have dismissed the lady while i was being checked. Nurses could not draw blood, i was given a lab report and told to go get my blood drawn from a labcorp with no suggestion on where the nearest facility was.

Went to Dr Young for a vasectomy. Is incredible the big difference and good talented doctor makes. All my friends went to different doctors for vasectomies they all had pain. I went with Dr Young for mine and the most incredible thing was I felt no pain during or days after the surgery and I mean zero pain. This doctor is extremely talented. The doctor was very confident and very compassionate. Highly recommend Dr Young.

We had a horrible experience with this doctor in the hospital. He is cold and arrogant. He really didn’t care what happened to my father. He was so busy trying to prove how smart he was that he lost sight of what was in my father’s best interests. He needs a lesson in compassion and humility.

I’ve had problems with kidney stones for several years and have had at least 3 surgeries. Since moving from another state, I continued to be sick and I found Dr. James Young, who is knowledgeable about stone therapy and an excellent and understanding practitioner. I highly recommend Dr. Young. He performed my last stone removal and I’m doing well.

Dr. Young is efficient, effective and professional. He takes the time to answer all your questions, explains thoroughly procedures and options. I had been a patient of Devine/Fiveash until they merged with U of Va. They have continued to uphold their excellent standards and the best Drs and staff. Dr. Young is a testament to their standards.
