I had my 4th MOHS surgery with Dr. Yousif. He never asked me what my name was, looked me in the eye, or even acknowledged that I was a human being. He may be a talented dermatologist but I felt nothing but scared in that office. He did not speak directly to me until I asked him to stop suturing because I could feel the needle. Even then I still felt like an inconvenience to him. He gave no time for questions and gave me almost no information about anything he was doing, had done, or was going to do to my body. I am an experienced patient with this procedure but I’m still a human and it would be nice if our doctors were too. TALK TO US, WE ARE ALL SCARED TO BE IN THERE!

He came into the exam room and didn’t even acknowledge me, but just started giving orders for a biopsy to the assistant and talking about wound care. When I told him that I was scheduled for major eye surgery the next day and didn’t realize I needed or wanted the procedure right then he acted like I was wasting his time.

I've been a patient at this office for 14 years and my experience with Mr. Yousif was so bad that I'm questioning changing dermatologist offices. Went in for a follow up appointment for an injection for cystic acne. Was told by other doctor that it could resurface and it did. Unfortunately that physician wasn't available and I was given this person. Within 15 seconds, he takes out a marker and says he wants to mark the cyst and cut a layer off of it for a biopsy as he wants to rule out cancer. Didn't ask me questions, didn't look at my chart or my patient history until I asked him to do so as I have these kinds of breakouts every few years. He read it and said, he doesn't want to do an injection - just wants a biopsy. I refused. I missed work. Am out my co-pay and am left with a growing cyst on my face. The silver lining is that I didn't allow him to perform an unnecessary procedure which would have caused facial scarring and additional costs. Good grief. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PERSON!

Dr Yousif is very attentive and thorough. He explains the difference between moles that are of concern, and maturity spots that are not. He performed a Moh's surgery on my jaw, and it has healed wonderfully. I highly recommend Dr Yousif.

Dr. Yousif has the bedside manner of an autonomous robot. He walked into the room and made eye contact with me all of two times. He was rude, terse, and when the nurse was in the room acted like I wasn't there. Like I was a part of the examining room. His bio on the English Dermatology website says, "he is a patient centered physician ," no he is not. He is a self centered physician. take this critique to heart, and learn to treat your patients like people, vulnerable people in need of help.

I was highly dissatisfied with my treatment. He had a terrible bedside manner & basically asked me what I wanted my treatment to be. I’m not sure I’m not the medical professional! On a side note he reeked of cigarettes. I could have overlooked this but his mannerism of both he & his nurse was not how a visit to the Dr should be!

Dr. Yousif was so attentive and informative. I thought he was great and his staff were all nice as well. I waited for about 20 minutes.. I didn’t think that seemed too long, but he even apologized for the wait.
