Dr Jamie Hammer was wonderful. After being with another medical clinic for many years I was a bit nervous to switch. Dr Jamie Hammer was amazing. So kind, very informative and made me feel so comfortable.

Dr. Hammer was great, very personable, and friendly. She was super easy to talk to, empathetic, and listened to my concerns. I had to have staples removed from my head and I didn't want to go through the ER. She was gentle and worked quickly . I really liked her. :)

In the last few years I have had two negative experiences with providers in the Duluth/Superior area (outside of essentia). Dr Hammer was the complete opposite, I felt like she genuinely listed and cared about my concerns. She took note of everything I mentioned, and discussed each piece with me, making sure I understood. She validated how I was feeling, and provided thoughtful solutions that align with what I expressed I wanted/hoped for while follow evidence based practice. She also handled mental health pieces so respectfully and without judgement. She spend nearly 45 minutes with me and made sure I had covered everything I wanted to before wrapping up. I got teary eyed afterwards (in a good way) as I have not felt so validated by a practitioner in many years. Huge thank you to Dr. Hammer for that.

Dr. Hammer is the reason I have stayed at this clinic despite mis communication by administration and endless insurance issues. But Dr. Jamie makes it worth it and if she ever leaves I will follow her
