Poor examination
I went in for a yearly physical (medicare 1 year f/u as last year I had a medicare wellness visit which I discovered is hands off), but all the Dr. did was sit in a chair ask how I was and listen to my heart and lungs. He examined nothing else, though his note states he completed a comprehensive examination of all systems. It was a stethoscope exam. I have never had such a poor exam.

I had my yearly medical with this Doctor. He did ask me a bunch of questions, but he only examined me with a stethoscope. It just didn't seem too thorough as I had in my past examinations. No EKG, nothing else. Nice guy, but it seemed a little lite to me.

Dr. Castello became my PCP 3 years ago. I was very ill at the time. I found him to be professional yet friendly, and, extremely knowledgeable. My health is now very much improved and I have his skills to thank for it. Dr.. Costello is the epitome of the "old world" doctor. His staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr. Costello diagnosed my wife as having mono. Even after 7 weeks, 4 office visits, and my wife’s severely deteriorating conditions of 103+ degree fevers, loss of appetite, and terrible night sweats, Dr. Costello did not consider any other problem. He never ordered a new blood test. It took a trip to the ER to discover two life threatening abscesses on her liver the size of baseballs. Stay away from this doctor.
