VERY PLEASED
After reading her columns in "Senior Perspectives", I made an appointment and went to see Dr. Smolen regarding a hammertoe I've had for years and which has worsened. She and her assistant were very pleasant. She conducted a thorough exam on my problem and offered suggestions for dealing with it. We discussed possible surgery options. Based on her input, I am considering surgery but feel comfortable now with delaying that decision until winter. I would definitely recommend her based on my experience.

Dr. Jan Smolen takes her time to explain everything, and she does not seem in a hurry to get through the appointment. She will follow up to make sure healing is going as it should. I feel she goes above and beyond.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Smolen was fantastic with my son and made sure she explained everything that she was doing and why. I would highly recommend her!

she has taken care of my tendinitis a couple of times, worked on my husbands bunions. excellent care and instruction after his surgery. explained everything, made sure we knew what was going to happen and any complications to look for. very thorough and knowledgeable

Dr. Smolen went above and beyond for the care of my young athletes. Thanks to her a young man with foot pain and turf toe was able to play in his championship game. She actually came to the field that morning dressed and taped the foot. The young man went on to play the entire game. Not many Dr's can say they have the care that Dr. Smolen does. I would and do recommend Dr. Smolen to friends and family.

Dr. Smolen has a wonderful bedside manner and is very knowledgeable in her field. She truly cared about my condition and helped create a path to recovery. I had alot of questions and she was willing to take the extra time to answer them. I would consider Dr. Smolen to be one of the best in her field especially in the area.
