Dr. Janaki Kanumilli, MD

Rude, unprofessional, doesn’t wear gloves while taking blood. She didn’t clarify when I asked is my thyroid high or TSH. Instead she said “don’t teach her medicine and take the medication she sent to pharmacy. Don’t have time to talk, I have to go home.”

Recently in 6 month I had two times blood test and I paid 4 times visit . Recently blood test after I called 4 times but they didn’t reply back yet . And same day my husband went and his blood test report in 4day. Thank you Dipti I wasn’t satisfied how she treat some time with patient .

Literally one of the worst doctors I've had. Yeah, she's a medical professional and obviously knows what she's talking about but she's also nasty, rude and DISMISSIVE. I told her something about what I was feeling and she immediately shoved it aside. I instantly regretted telling her. Actually disgusted by my visit; I will not be coming back.

This morning I had an MD visit with Dr. Kanumilli. It’ll take some time for me to recover from the hurtful treatment I experienced from her. In the past she was reasonably nice and friendly. Today I felt that I went to her as if I had no insurance and as I went for a free service. She was reluctant, mean and rude in her every interaction.

This is my second review, and it is a downgrade from my first glowing review a few years ago. When I first started in Dr. Kanumilli's practice, I found her attentive and caring. My most recent experiences have altered that perception. I'm rarely ill, so I don't see her often, and when I developed a bacterial infection during a cold, her exam lasted under 30 seconds. Ok - I got a prescription and was fine. The HUGE problem was in December 2019 when I scheduled an appointment for surgical clearance. I took the day off, and before I was in the exam room, she told me that I was there too soon prior to my surgery - without even looking at the surgeon's instructions for clearance. Well, she was wrong. Her office told me to reschedule for the week of my surgery, and had I done that, it would have been too late, according to my surgeon and the hospital.
