Dr. Jane Bonacich, MD

My first visit to Dr. Bonacich was my remarkably good luck that SHE was on-call the weekend I (very painfully) tore the ligament on my right upper arm. Linked in by a concerned Kaiser advice nurse, she asked me all the relevant questions, actually LISTENED and sent me a link to send her close-up photos of the injury. Although not my assigned PCP, she scheduled an appointment for the next day afternoon. Without a real wait she saw me and without further imaging diagnosed my condition and planned for therapy involving NO surgery as not necessary. Everything you could ask for in a personal caregiver: broadly knowledgeable yet expert in the details, all while being personal and professional simultaneously. Five stars, AT LEAST!

I have had her as my primary care doctor for about twenty years. She is an extremely competent doctor and is also very caring and sympathetic. I like the fact that she is board certified and is a very intelligent hard working M.D.. But for anything outside her area of expertise she recommends me to the appropriate specialist. Like most of her patients I really like her as a person as well as a professional. Kaiser Richmond is very lucky to have her on its staff.
