Not the doctor for me
I did not trust her medical expertise. Her office is not efficiently operated. I need a better health practitioner.

Dr. Wachs wasted my time as a patient. I would ask questions about my test results and I wasn't getting a decent response. She barely looked at me and after I found another rheumatologist and showed my test results, he asked me why she didn't test for other things knowing she should have based on my symptoms. Long story short I was diagnosed with Sjögren's and my doctor knows that I had this for a long time. What a waste of time and patience.

I was a new patient, yet her office was able to schedule my appointment for the following day. During the visit, Dr. Wachs was attentive and gave me all the time I required. Her manner and competence were very reassuring.

I wish 0 stars was an option. I saw Dr. Wachs for chronic joint and muscle pain. She diagnosed me with fibromyalgia at age 25. At age 29, I became aware of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome thanks to a WestMed podiatrist (Dr. Herstik - excellent!), who referred me back to Wachs in order to get a genetic testing referral. Her response? “There’s no cure, so there’s no point in doing genetic testing.” I pray, for her sake, that we never cross paths again.

I saw Dr Wachs because my regular provider left. Worst decision ever. She spent no time actually listening, decided that my problems were related to depression squeezed my frozen shoulder and the wart just freezed off 10 mins before her session and decided that my squirm to the squeeze was over reactive. Didn’t actually assess my swollen joints and sent for a lot of lab work. She was robotic and scripted. Will not be returning to her!

I would not recommend this doctor. She doesn't believe Sjogren's can be serious. I tested positive for it and she didn't contact me with my results, I had to look on the portal. When I contacted her about concerns regarding lupus and RA and asked what I should do to follow up as next steps, she told me to follow up with my eye doctor. I feel incredibly marginalized, especially since my mother had serious autoimmune issues and died at age 63. This was not the right way to treat a patient. The only reason I'm giving her 1 star is because I wouldn't be able to write a review. I'm extremely disappointed and this appointment was a big waste of my time.

Sadly I had to choose 1 star because it would not allow me to leave a review. She should be called the ice queen because she has no bedside manner at all... I went to this Dr. for RA and she prescribed Methotrexate. At some point I heard a crackling in my chest when breathing and I ended up having Pulmonary Fibrosis from the medication. Imagine a Doctor taking your blood pressure and weighing you each visit but never putting a stethoscope to your chest to listen to your lungs. Her response was "
