care philosophy

Dr. McGovney likes to discuss the use of medications with her patients, and, often with family members or caregivers, to promote the reduction of cardiovascular risks, keeping mind that medications have side effects.

Dr. McGovney was born and reared in the Kansas City area, where she and her husband, Dr. Timothy Wilson, live and work. When not helping patients. Dr. McGovney enjoys reading, especially historical nonfiction literature, and playing the piano.
