Dr. Janice Naumann, MD

I am quite surprised to read these comments. My experience with Dr. Naumann was excellent. She was very patient with me, I am not the easiest person to deal with for this type of exam. I'm sorry to read your comments that you have all been disappointed with Dr. Naumann. I thought she was great.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Dr Naumann listened to my problems, and addressed each one. I have had 5 Ob/gym doctors over the years, and she is the best one. Absolutely no complaints!

Unfortunately, I did not read these reviews before visiting Dr. Naumann for a routine check-up. All of the times I have seen Dr. Naumann the interactions have been cold and short. She never once asked me about sexual patterns, or anything pertaining to my sexual health. After my first visit, I experienced intense emotions due to sexual trauma. Dr. Naumann/staff made no acknowledgment of these emotions and I left the office in tears. I had a scheduled IUD insertion for my next appointment. Before the appointment, I asked the nurse to inform Dr. Naumann of possible triggers due to this trauma. Not only did Dr. Naumann not address these comments (I don't know if the nurse said anything at all) but she had no follow-up with me after the procedure. I was essentially sent out the door with no instruction or explanation of what post-insertion would be like. I strongly recommend against Dr. Naumann and her practice, especially if you are a survivor of sexual assault/trauma.

If you are looking for compassion, diagnostic skills, or someone looking after the best interests of their patients, do not choose Dr. Naumann as your ob/gyn. I received none of the above.

Dr. Naumann is the reason for the worst day of my life. I had a Labiaplastay done by her and she ended up botching it. I now have an abnormal shape and she cut off too much in certain areas. I have to go to a revision specialist and pay thousands of dollars in order to get this fixed. It was confirmed by my new surgeon that the surgery was botched. I had severe body image issues prior to having surgery and she made them 100x worse. I have zero confidence and I don’t deserve to pursue intimate relationships. No one will ever love me because I look like a freak. I hate myself more than ever now and I hate her even more. A surgery that costed her 30 minutes has ruined my life which I will not be able to get back. She should never be allowed to preform one of these again and she failed to inform me that she was inexperienced when it came to Labiaplastay.

My OB/GYN retired and so I followed his nurse, Patty, with whom I adore, to whomever she would assist next in the practice. I ended up with Dr. Naumann. Patty, as always, was wonderful.
