Dr Ho is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and open to listening to my thoughts and questions. I always appreciate her awareness of all of my medical issues and how they relate to retina health.

Rushed me in for supposedly retina detachment.In desperation, after four plus failed procedures and worse eye vision Ho said there was no more she could do for me, handed me a two dollar off eye drop coupon and said good luck.Stay away, no expertise was ever experienced. Taken advantage of in the medical claim game. Steer clear of Janice Ho.

Everytime I visit Dr. Ho and the Eye Institute, I feel listened to by the doctor and staff. Dr. Ho is able to explain things to me in a manner that makes me feel knowledgable instead of dumb about what is going on.

Had a vision scare one afternoon and was promptly scheduled the next morning. Ever so thankful.

She was friendly, provided all the necessary information with me, and I am confident in her judgment and abilities.

Dr. Ho is thorough and gives terrific explanations, keeps her patients calm and addresses situations head on. She is terrific to have on your side. I do recommend you give yourself extra time, as she spends extra time with each patient that needs it, so things often run behind. Can’t complain though, she’s there for you, too.

I was scared I may have a retinal tear. I was scared of anything coming near my eyes. And I was terrified of having my eyes dialated for the first time ever! Not only was Dr. Ho friendly and relaxed while discussing my test results, but she explained what was happening to my eye so that I easily understood. I also have to compliment her assistant who was not only charming, but so easy going I instantly relaxed. He explained each test he did and why. He was unfazed by my fears and casually talked me through each one like a pro! I will never go anywhere else for my eyes!!! Excellent staff and Doctor. Covid protocol followed for everyone's safety made me feel even more confortable!

Check in and intake were quick and friendly. Evaluation thorough and reassuring. Dr Ho was very knowledgeable regarding my most unusual diagnosis. Would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Dr Ho more highly! 8 days following ear surgery, I noticed blurred vision in one eye and found it to have become very dilated. Researching causes on the internet, I was reading root cause could be stroke but had no other symptoms. I did not want to visit the ER what with COVID so called ophthalmologists in the area but could not get same day appointment until I recalled seeing Dr Jory Williams on Howard Ave 5-10 years ago. I was scheduled to see Dr Ho in 2 hours. All staff were attentive and professional. Dr. Ho conducted a very comprehensive exam, tests and screened me for stroke and trauma. When I told her I had recently had surgery, she asked if I had been given a motion sickness patch and I said 'yes' and had placed it below the ear NOT operated on. Aha. She explained it contained the same ingredient as in eye dilating drops. The condition resolved within 24 hours. I was very impressed.

Dr. Ho is very personable, professional and competent. During my visit, she was punctual and courteous. Dr. Ho asked questions, was gentle and thorough in her exam, and she explained everything she was doing (and why) in terms I could understand. She took time to answer my questions and never made me feel rushed. By the time my exam was over, I knew I had picked an excellent doctor and that my eyes are in good hands. I highly recommend her.

Very happy with my visit. After making a day-of-appointment for a worrisome issue, was called and offered an earlier time slot which I happily took. Not only was Dr. Ho personable, kind, and informative, but so was the staff that surrounded her. I was able to have my issue taken care of promptly that morning and look forward to my follow-up in a couple weeks.

Dr. Ho was fantastic. She took her time, was very thorough, explained her diagnosis and gave me a treatment for my macular degeneration that was far better than my previous doctor. The whole staff was excellent.
