Dr. Jared Kirkham, MD

Dr. Kirkham made us wait at least one hour in an exam room before he began the appointment. During that hour he had one of the nurses escort us into an exam room for an MRI. Once I learned what he intended I told the nurse we already had an MRI done previously. We were then escorted back to the exam room, wasting more time. When Kirkham finally came to the exam room he began with some very simplistic questions and comments making us wonder if he was at all prepared for our appointment. We were so disappointed in his approach by that time we asked to cancel the appointment and requested to speak to one of the more senior doctors. During that conversation we shared our experience with the senior doctor and told him we were unwilling to pay for the services of Kirkham. The senior doctor agreed with our position and relieved us of any costs. Our previous experience with AFOC has been positive but that was not the case with Kirkham.

Dr. Kirk ham and is staff are extremely and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with my treatment plan.

Doctor Kirkham is very gentle & I am not a needle person so this is important to me. He responds to all my questions and he is kind. He is saving me from more surgeries. I have had 7 surgeries & recovery are traumatic experiences I don’t wish to go through again. Thank You Doctor see you soon. He is a busy Doctor so sometimes there may be a wait which shows he has many patients. In my experience the wait is well worth the interactions with Doctor Kirkham.

Dr. Kirkham is always pleasant and has a great bedside manner. He listens to what you have to say about the reason you are there, instead of telling you why you are there. I have seen him since 2017 and will continue to see him for my orthopedic needs.

I was in severe pain. After Dr. Kirkham examined me he provided same day non- surgical treatment for my pain. Dr. Kirkham and his assistant Jacob provided excellent care.

This was the third time he injected my arthritic hip with excellent results. The procedure was almost painless and very effective. He also gave me other good advice on ways to enhance my strength. I believe he tries to help his patients avoid a need for surgery .

Dr. Kirkham is a miracle worker and gave me my life back through a simple Rx! Other doctors wanted to perform surgery. He listens, is highly knowledgeable and professional!

The office staff is great as well as the assistant that was in the room during my brief visit. The appointment was for 1:00 I was told to show up 15 minutes early and did so only the wait until 1:15 to start. Dr Kirkham was very brisk and not exactly friendly. I felt as though I was taking to much of his time ( the appointment was done in less than 15 minutes) I honestly would not see this doctor again not sure if this is how he always treats patients but first impressions with a health care provider are important. Being slightly personable goes a long way.

Everything okay and medical terms were explained well. I looked forward seeing Dr. Kirkham again.

He laid out all the treatment options and let me choose. Also took my diabetes into account, which took out one option.

Had to get an injection. Dr Kirkham was very kind and patient. Made me feel at ease. Before I knew it the procedure was over.

I receive excellent care from Dr. Kirkham. He is compassionate and stays up on the latest research.

Jacob his MA is friendly and helpful. Dr. Kirkham is outstanding, he lets you know everything he is doing and explains it well. He so friendly and helpful not some arrogant doctor. Without hesitation I would recommend him to anyone

I found Dr Kirkham to be very professional, who answered all my questions, very kind demeanor. His technical skills were excellent with minimal discomfort with an injection that can be painful at times. I would not hesitate to see him again and would recommended him to friends or colleagues

Jared really doesn’t have a sense of understanding or relating to an individual’s pain or injury. I had two IME appointments prior to his and once I received his report it was so out of text and demeaning that just wanted others to be aware. In my case after dealing with this injury for two years he picked out individual statements like “I felt good one day” or “I didn’t take medications one day” to mean I was better and the pain after that was degenerative because of my age. He went as far as to say that my issues are mainly physiological! The damaged he did by his “opinion” really put a damper on my continuing out of pocket healthcare that isn’t covered by my insurance. I would like to think that I’m a very honest person. I truly treat others as I would like to be treated myself. Unfortunately honestly doesn’t help in any stages dealing with worker’s compensation; especially with this guy. Also it’s unfortunate that you might not have a choice when they’ve chosen him!
