Full spinal fusion
I feel totally deceived. My surgery and diagnosis was changed a lot while I was signing my anesthesia paper work. I was given 5 minutes to decided the biggest mistake of my life. Lots went wrong and he called it all complications. He was on a plane to Hawaii before I got to the I.c.i. I now have surgeons removing metal from my spine and trying to correct his mistakes. I complained everywhere I could think of and it does no good. He got a teaching working position shortly after my surgery at the very institution where several Dr.s was from who cornered me with him before surgey to do a complete fusion. He got more from the procedure than I did. Very sloppy job and the rods look like spaghetti. One of my Dr.s call it the death surgery. I have so many more issues from nerve damage to sevear pain. Ummc and johns Hopkins should be ashamed of themselves for backing him.

We were really happy with Dr .Marks. He took time to really listen to what was going on . He was not rushed at all and was genuinely interested in treating the patient , not the symptoms!

Dr. Jared Marks worked on my daughter in the Batson ER. She was in a tragic accident and was only 2yrs old. I'm not confident that everything was done to save my daughter! I saw Dr. Marks twice. Once before surgery and once to tell me that my daughter was dead. He showed NO compassion either time. He seemed like he needed to be somewhere else besides working on my daughter.
