Very short wait; nurse took vitals, verified medicines, entered the reasons for the visit. Dr. Dodd came in minutes after the nurse was finished. Asked appropriate questions, wrote RX for two non-renewable new medicines to be evaluated by blood work. Reduced the dosage of one of the meds. No issues with the visit.

He didn't listen to me, unfortunately. Went to urgent care with a history of kidney stones and was in extreme pain, he said I definitely had a UTI, my results came back after my blood draw that in fact I did not have an infection. Two days later, in misery at home, I passed the stone. After I visited my family doctor, and had an MRI of my kidneys, low and behold I have staghorn kidney stones and sponge kidneys and that is what is causing me the pain. Could he have done much about that, probably not - but don't appreciate the $300 medical bills I had to pay for nothing. He seemed indifferent and flippant the entire time.

He is a nice guy but does not seem willing or able to work outside of "protocol" if a situation doesn't meet the typical guidelines - does not seem able to adapt and seek different solutions. Probably good if you are healthy, but not if you're out of the norm as evidenced by my personal experience and the malpractice suit from 2014 (which was not me). Wait is also long. 15-20 minutes late (routinely) to get into the office, then another 15-20 minutes sitting alone in the checkup room.
