He didn’t dismiss me. He listened to me !!!
He takes the time to really listen to the facts. I told him when my condition was at its worse. He didn’t dismiss me when I told him things were happening. I could attribute every hospital visit to specific occurrences. He heard me and gave me parameters to stay off of blood thinners. Post-surgery I’m feeling wonderful for the first time in over 20 years. He admitted I was a complex case but he took the time. Many doctors talk at you instead of listening. He listened. I thank him for his expertise but I hope I never need his services again to remain healthy.

Review of visit with Dr. Jascha Rubin
My wife was referred to Dr. Rubin by her General practitioner. It was a concern over a particular elevated element in her blood level. Dr. Rubin spoke with my wife, checked several previous blood draw samples and concluded that there was no immediate concern, but that he would like to monitor her situation in the future. He had a nice manner in dealing with my wife, and he presented as being honest and straightforward in his assessment and comments. I would recommend this physician for anyone dealing with any kind of blood disorder.

When I was in my car driving, I received a phone call rom the receptionist saying the Dr. wanted to see me in 4 months instead. Since I was driving I cold not make an appointment. The receptionist said she would call me the next day and set one up for me. I still have not heard from her and this is July 21st.

Professional and Knowledgeable
I have seen Dr. Rubin on several occasions and always found him to be professional, knowledgeable, and a good listener. He was honest in his assessments and thoroughly explained the procedures and options. Dr. Rubin's level headedness and calm demeanor were both settling and reassuring. He has made a plan, explained the plan, and is following through with it.

Had one biopsy done at Fax Chase Cancer Center and found NO cancer. Then they tried to convince me to get a second biopsy. I suggested it wasn't needed but they were pushing and really had me worried. I was also treating with Drs. Pickens and Rubin at the time and after they reviewed films they said no surgery was needed, it was something they would watch and track and it certainly wasn't life-threatening. Wow. What a relief! Fox Chase is really quick to pick up that $nife. Thank you to Drs. Pickens and Rubin.

This was my second time visiting with Dr. Rubin. I had been a patient of Dr. Pickens. Since he was almost completely retired I thought it would be better to get a new doctor. Dr Rubin was very concerning and somewhat personable. I guess we both had to feel each other out. Otherwise the second visit was much more better than the first.
