Dr. Jasia Hu, MD

My partner and I have been going to Dr. Hu for years. She has excellent communication skills and takes a personal interest in her patients. She flagged symptoms for follow-up treatment with specialists that were due to more serious conditions. Even when we're seeing specialists, she will arrive at meetings already having reviewed our current test results. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a primary care doctor without reservations. Thank you, Dr. Hu!

Dr. Hu is an excellent doctor. She was first recommend to me by another physician (yes, she's another doctor's primary doctor, which tells you a lot!). She's thorough, knowledgeable, and proactive with testing and labs. I don't like doctors who take a 'wait and see' approach, and I appreciate that she's willing to take action in consultation with me. It always feels like it's my decision after she clearly explains the options. Once when I had covid, I was able to get a next day telehealth appointment. Otherwise regular in-person physicals take months to schedule. Her bedside manners are excellent. She's really quick on her feet and super fast at navigating online medical records in front of you, but at the same time doesn't make you feel rushed in asking questions. Just a great doctor in every way! I'm not a fan of Optum as a big conglomerate, but that's where she works, so that's where I go!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Hu for several years and I am very satisfied with the care that she has provided. Very attentive and knows/remembers my health conditions. I never feel rushed. Always responsive to email inquiries. She has been conducting virtual appointments because of the pandemic and has been wonderful alternative to in-person appointments.

I love Dr. Hu. She has a calm demeanor and this is super helpful. She takes her time with you. She seems to be up-to-date with new treatments, also very helpful. Healthcare these days is really a "joint" venture. When you are sick you should work together with your doctor. A patient needs to be involved and do their own research, too. We all know what it is like to look up an illness online. Freak out! While some doctors almost mock you when you walk in and say, "I read this online...", Dr. Hu seems to welcome your investigative mind and listens intently. Listening is such an important part of healthcare and for this Dr. Hu gets an A+

Dr. Hu actually cares about me and my physical well being, even when she refers me to a specialist. She always asks to have all test results and notes forwarded to her from other doctors. She cares about the whole patient and she listens first before assuming the reason for your visited. She is without a doubt the best and most caring doctor I have ever had.

I started seeing Dr. Hu because my regular doctor at Optum was continually unavailable. She is good and thorough. I find her to be overly cautious. I have had to take test that I personally don't think we're necessary. I would most certainly trust Dr. Hu with an aging parent However, if you are a busy professional, except to have your patience stretched. Her support staff is amazing!

My mother, daughter and I have all recently started seeing Dr. Hu. She has provided great and thorough care for all three generations. Her knowledge and caring are evident right away, making it clear we made the right choice for us.

I have had one visit with Dr. Hu and find her to be very friendly and helpful. She explains things very clearly and appears to be well versed in all aspects of the medical care she is needed to provide. She is also very willing to answer questions and become familiar with my medical needs.
