All about Money
This office has a zero tolerance policy on being late to or missing appointments. I was late ( that’s on me) and they called me to tell me they would not see me even though I was on my way. They then charged my $75. I told them I’d keep my business with them but asked in good faith if they would waive the fee. They said no. I let them know I was no longer a patient. They now are hounding me with phone calls and bills about their fee. It feels like to me this office is most concerned with making money and less concerned with their patients as human beings.

Very disappointing. I went for a visit for bumps all over my feet and ankles. Didn't even get to see a doctor but a nurse instead. I was told that I have Keratosis and there is nothing that can be done. Charge - $ 95.00. I go to a real dermatologist that froze the bumps and got rid of them. I will probably get more but it rids me of what I have now. Therefore, the money I spent at Dr Amato's was a waste. They shouldn't have you see a nurse if she can't do what the doctor can do or give an accurate diagnosis/treatment. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I had an absolute terrible experience during my time here. I am beyond disappointed by the lack of organization and attention to detail from staff. I was scheduled with the wrong Doctor after being referred from another Doctor, was handed someone's paperwork including their medical information, and the Doctor I ended up seeing (who I had never heard of) could not even talk to me about the things I made the appointment for in the first place. They asked me to schedule a time with the correct doctor, who I called to make the appointment with in the first place. I took time off work for this appointment and drove a half hour each way. Would not and will not recommend to my friends, who are also looking for lip fillers. Worst experience I've ever had at a Doctor's office.

My experience was frustrating. I was misdiagnosed and put on an expensive medication for psoriasis when I had eczema. Even after repeated calls to the office over 3 month period to say I was not getting better. I was told to be patient. Went back to a dermatologist I had seen years ago. He took a biopsy and has prescribed the appropriate medication for eczema. I am completely clear after seeing another doctor who took the time to do a biopsy to see exactly what they were treating.

I visited Dr. Amato smonths ago and was very pleased with him, his knowledge and his service. Unfortunately my review on his pratice is based solely on the office manager, Jerry, and because of him that I will never return to this practice and would advise anyone to steer clear. He personally entered the wrong information on my account, was rude, condescending and completely inappropriate to me, and he attempted to turn a situation around on me. I am astonished and disappointed with his behavior

Doctor Amato is amazing. He is thorough, responsive and has taken the time to know me and my family. When my son had a staff infection- he and his team were the only ones who were able to manage this situation and get it under control. I am a big fan!!

Be aware that if you make an appointment with Dr. Amato for a condition other than skin cancer? you will not see Dr. Amato. You will instead see a nurse practitioner. If you try to call Dr. Amato's office to set up an appointement? you will most likely receive a recorded message and wait patiently for someone to return your call.
