Our experience was not a good one, unfortunately. My husband has kidney stones. - 5th time! The previous four required surgery, as they wouldn’t pass on their own. We are now six weeks into this new stone. We’ve been to the ER twice and surgery was finally going to happen. The scheduling secretary was curt and nasty when I called, since we hadn’t received her call on the day we were told we’d be called. I waited until the next day. I left a nice message Asking when his surgery would be. - Our appointment was the previous Tuesday. So, this was a week after his appointment. She didn’t call Monday, because his schedule is full. She needed to talk to him. This was not said nicely. It was said in a snarky nasty tone. He was scheduled for surgery In 2 weeks! The last appt we had with Bonslaver my husband asked him, “why do I have pain here?” Dr Bonslaver said, “I don’t know!”, and walked out of the room. We Are now with Hershey Urology. Huge difference.

He was a very good Doctor . I had kidney Stones on the right kidney and the Doctor found a mass on the left which was cancerous. Dr. Removed the cancer, surgery went well. Followed up and had the kidney stones taken care of. I was very pleased with the Doctor and the surgery. I will continue to put my trust into Dr. Bonslaver. He is the a excellent surgeon.

Dr Bonslaver did surgery for a stone on me. He was clear and easy to talk to. Good experiences with nursing. Front office staff seemed irritated and unfriendly. But I wasn't there to see them so I ignored it

Dr. Bonslaver treated my father, who has a complex health situation, for kidney cancer. He was thorough and professional and an incredible advocate for my dad. He took great personal interest even though he didn't need to. I wish he could be our doctor for all of our issues.

I would definitely recommend Dr.Bonslaver. I was referred to YorkTowne Urology and Dr. Bonslaver by my primary doctor for a kidney stone and blockage. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail about what was happening to my body and what would happen during my surgery. I saw some negative reviews and wanted to give him the credit he deserves. If you are in doubt, please meet with him first and form your own opinion. I think you will find he is a wonderful doc.
