Dr. Jason Carness, MD

Though I have been a patient of Dr. Carness for only a short while, I have been extremely satisfied and very happy to have been referred to him. Though I had never previously seen a psychiatrist, I expected a completely different and much less pleasant experience. I had been seeing a neurologist for adult ADD/ADHD for over 27 years and absolutely regret not finding Dr. Carness sooner. He has been a very conscientious and caring doctor, sensitive to the issues I have been discussing with him. He makes me feel extremely comfortable and has actually made the new realm of “virtual/telemedicine” quite the perfect experience. Instead of dreading the experience, it actually much better suits my needs. (I have fairly substantial mobility limitations and really dread playing “Mask Theater” which NJ medical facilities have still not abandoned in 2023). He has been a very big help and someone I recommend him most wholeheartedly.

Dr. Carness is attentive, caring, and takes his time with patients. I highly recommend him. He is an excellent psychiatrist and really listens to his patients.

Dr Carness has been helping me for years. He's so attentive and caring, you can tell he really cares about his patients. I recently moved states so unfortunately have to switch to a doctor where I live now and I didn't realize how much I've taken him for granted. I hope to find another doctor like him, even though it's very difficult to because I've never felt more like a person than while under his care.

I'm still not quite sure how it happened. Perhaps, I was carrying too much but somehow I got "stuck" mentally and emotionally. I sunk into a deep depression and severe anxiety. Dr. Carness helped me get unstuck. This Dr not only knows his stuff but he really cares. I am not only well but I'm thriving.I am so grateful. Thank u Dr. Carness. I'm paying it forward. I do not wish what I've been thru on anyone but if u must go thru this experience, this is the man you want to guide you out of it.
