Told me false results for medical test leading to
I had been suffering for years from pain in my head neck and shoulder, and began getting numbness and burning down my arms. I did an EMG with doctor chang to see if I could have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome or other nerve issues. He told me nothing came up on my results that showed anything specific was wrong. Because I trusted him i didn’t question it. 6 months later I found out that he had completely lied to me about the results of my EMG. I had nerve problems on the test which lead to a diagnosis of severe bilateral TOS. I found out I got TOS from a car accident 4 year ago, and I would have gotten diagnosed 6 months sooner if he had told me the truth. I had to get surgery, I had my first rib removed, two neck muscles removed, my pec minor cut off the bone, and a complete dissection of my brachial plexus. After surgery I have a severe brachial plexus injury. had to get an ulnar nerve operation, and will be disabled for the rest of my life. I still need an operation on the other side.

Both my mom and I are under the care of Dr. Chang. We can't thank him enough for his thoroughness and patience during every visit. He listens to all our problems we have to say and like a health "investigator", he attentively tries to figure out what can make us better. A great physiatrist and definitely recommend!
