Dr Choi is an excellent Dr. He explains things well and cares about his patients. Over the top is how I would describe Dr Choi.

Dr Choi and his team are true professionals. I appreciate their happy smiling faces, pleasant conversations and demeanor all while making sure my needs are met. The appointments are always handled quickly without sacrificing any time to answer questions or to make sure I understand everything I need to know.

Dr Choi took his time explaining my racing heatbeat, possible afib and palpitations. He answered all my questions and recommended next steps. He even called when I was worried and didn't know what symptoms were serious enough to go to the ER before my first scheduled visit.

Every appointment with Dr. Choi was good. He answered all my concerns, helped me to understand why he recommended procedures and was very personable. I found his staff to be pleasant always. I do understand there are issues these days as United Health is part of something that is interfering with the ability of doctors to continue giving the wonderful health service we have been lucky to have. I do hope things get better for people having problems.

My dad got a referral to go to this office. It was sent out about two weeks ago by his PCP. We were asked to wait at least 5 business days to make sure they got the referral. I called at least 4 times yesterday and was on hold each time for 30 min or longer and my call was never answered. I decided to go to the office and I was told that my dad’s referral was not found. My dad called his PCP to get it sent again. It was sent yesterday. Today I went and the lady at the desk was so rude. She asked me to call next time instead. I explained my calls were not answered and she said she was short that she could go into the referral page because she didn’t have time at the moment. I told her I could wait and she said she would not go into that page all day. Her refusal to take a look already made me feel like my dad’s health would not be of any importance in this place. I doubt Dr. Choi knows his fax referral lady treats his patients so rude and is so disrespectful. I don’t mind calling and I

One year waiting to see Dr. appointments are made (after waiting 3 or 4 months. When time comes close appointment is canceled and another 3 or 4 months must be waited again. Saw practitioner once, no follow up, I have congestive heart failure. Terrible neglect on Drs part!!!! This guy is dangerously handling heart patients!!!! Just cancel 4-24 appointment and rescheduling for 9-4 because Dr will not be in again!!! Do NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR TO ANYONE THAT IS CONCERNED WITH YOUR HEALTH.

Doctor Jason Choi.. every time i have a follow up visit, I feel so blessed because all my concerns were answered clearly and briefly where i can absorb what it means.I never walk from his Office with a doubt in my mind. He inspired me every visit I made.

Knowledgable, caring, and personable. Without doubt the best cardiologist in Santa Maria, CA.Dr. Choi makes it his job to make sure you get the best of care. I always feel like he takes a personal interest in my well being. My wife also see Dr. Choi and she thinks he walks on water as well. I feel fortunate to have him as my cardiologist.

Dr. Choi is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and go over everything with me. I wish his practice wasn't so crowded as it takes time to get in to see him but I feel it is worth it for his expertise.

The office staff are friendly and helpful. Both Dr. Choi and the Physician's Assistant Anna are very knowledgeable and thorough with their explanations and their recommendations. I feel that everyone treated me with respect and that is refreshing.

I had a heart monitor applied on October 25th and returned it to the doc's office on Oct 30. My primary doc requested the results of the test twice in the last 45 days and still no results report. I called yesterday 12/28 and they told me they couldn't find the report in my file and that they would have to search for it. I called back the following morning 12/29 at 10:15 AM and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. The receptionist never came back on line. Extremely unprofessional and their office is chaotic and disorganized. I don't know if I have a serious heart condition that needs attention due to their lack of follow through. I could actually die waiting for them to review my results report to determine my heart condition.

Last Christmas, I suddenly developed shortness of breath which I thought was from not exercising much and being out of shape. Dr Choi recommended some tests and found out I had a heart valve problem. He was very calm and reassuring when explaining the process to me and recommended that I get open heart surgery to replace my valve. I feel like new person!! I have been seeing him in the office every few months for follow-up check ups and am doing so much better now. Very grateful and highly recommend this doctor if you have any heart concerns.

Well I haven’t had a good experience at all. I haven’t seen dr at all and it’s so hard to get answers or calls back. My process started in July 2022 and it took a month and half to get my heart monitor out on than I never heard back on results. I called 3 weeks later and nothing I had to do follow ups and go to my primary for results to hand deliver . I needed more test after a follow up early Oct and they advised more test and now it’s going in 3 weeks again and nothing. I called office and they said I need to talk to another dept and they took My number down but that was Friday and here is it Thursday following week and nothing. I need to find another dr and hopefully don’t end up in hospital before than .

Wow, so pleased I found Dr. Choi, he is OUTSTANDING, with pleasant, respectful & polite manors. As my new cardiologist he did a thorough review of my complex conditions, ordering new diagnostic testing & imaging as well as a thorough review of medical reports from my other specialists treating other condition with crossover medical issues with needed cardiologist oversight. Dr. Choi is thorough, takes your health conditions very seriously recommending or concurring with care provided by other specialist & also prescribed medications. In the end I am so glad that my prior cardiologist office (inappropriately) discharged from care, as Dr Choi is far superior the my previous cardiologists, I truly feel lucky to have found him. My prior cardiologist was not taking my medical conditions seriously and not addressing my most serious and complex conditions. I was discharged to my primary care provider. I never would have found Dr Choi otherwise, so in the end I’m extremely thankful.

Friendly and knowledgeable, explains things well. I like that I'm able to get my echo cardiograms done at the same office instead of being referred elsewhere for imaging.
