No follow up!
Had a colonoscopy in December 2022- Dr Collins was unable to complete the procedure due severe diverticulosis- I was supposed to receive a cologuard test in the mail as a follow up- Never received it! Called the office 3 times in the last 2 months with no response -ended up in the Emergency due to diverticulitis 5 weeks after my incomplete colonoscopy! What a cluster!!!

He has wonderful bedside manner, however, did an urgent CT request for my husband, That was great… it’s been 6 days with no return call for his diagnosis, care.. not a thing.. I’ve called and left messages for him… nothing!!! We will be looking for someone else.. Dr Solinger would be beside himself if he knew this was going on !!

I loved Dr. Collins! At first I was in doubt of him because he was a new Doctor for me and I am VERY PARTICULAR about any Doctors that I see - for sure! I thought he was WONDERFUL!! I WOULD TOTALLY GO TO HIM AGAIN IF I CAN JUST FIND WHERE HE WENT TO! He apparently left the Glenwood Practice to be with family.

Dr. Collins, his staff in Glenwood Springs, and the entire team in Basalt were so kind, thorough, thoughtful, and professional. In the days on waning customer service and patient care, I was blown away by how they were all on top of EVERYTHING. Never once did I feel like a number or just another patient. Thank you Dr. Collins and everyone involved.

I had an endoscopy from Dr. Collins in July. At my consultation he put me at ease and I felt I was in the right hands. My internist highly recommended him and she was right. The procedure was painless and the staff he surrounds himself with are amazing. I am having a colonoscopy next summer and have zero anxiety about it. I would highly recommend Dr. Collins.

I had to wait 25 minutes in the waiting room and then 25 minutes in the office before Dr. Collins showed up. I talked to him for 10 minutes about getting off a prescription because of bad side effects. My bill was $367. His first advice was to double the prescription I was trying to get off of. His office is all about procedures and prescriptions and the all might dollar instead of trying to help patients with lifelong health advice.
