Humerus/shoulder surgery
Dr. Evans and staff did a wonderful job of making me feel at ease and explaining the surgery to me. Surgery was an outpatient procedure and was on the road to recovery in just a couple of weeks

Pleased
I am very happy with the work done by Dr. Evans. About 6 weeks ago I was taken to Tristar Skyline after a nose to nose collision with a deer on my motorcycle. The deer spun around crushing my leg against the bike, causing me to lose control and be thrown from it, fracturing 6out of 7 ribs, and multiple fractures of my tibial plateau. He did a great job putting my leg back together. I've had 2 appointments since being released from the hospital. Unfortunately I haven't seen him, but his staff has been great, especially his assistant Charles. Hopefully I'll start seeing Dr. Evans soon.

Physician rating a physician
Dr Evan’s is an absolute miracle worker in trauma. In August of 2020 I was involved in a terrible accident in Utah and had to be flown home on a medical jet to Skyline Medical Center so I could be fixed because the doctors in Utah did not know what to do. As a physician myself I knew the severity of my injuries and had tremendous fear for my outcome. Dr. Evans was able to perform a miracle and save my arm and today I have complete use of it like it never happened. When people see my x-rays they are shocked. I cannot say enough about his surgical skill and decision making. My orthopedic friends who saw the before and after have also said it’s a miraculous fix. I wanted to publicly call him out and thank him for what he did for me.

I broke my ankle in three places on July 19th this year. Had to wait until the 23rd to get surgery. I never saw Dr.Evans until the morning of surgery. I saw his nurse/assistant every visit except this last appointment on October 19th. When I saw him this time he said I could get rid of the boot and the crutches. The month prior his nurse told me I had to still wear the boot and 25 -50% weight bearing. I did as Dr. Evans said. The pain was so Excruciating that it made me want to vomit. My ankle has swelled so large and it has bruising and again the pain. I called the office and had to leave a message on voicemail which was never returned I called this morning again I got routed to a voicemail I called again and I got in touch with the receptionist to get email to send photos. I called again to see if they received the photos that I sent the thing went straight to voicemail so I called and they answered so they were ignoring my calls. Worse care I have ever received. Would rate care 0!

I suffered an open fracture wound on my right ankle. It required surgery.1 plate and 9 screws. The 1st goal was to save my foot. 2nd goal was to not get an infection and avoid a skin draft.Dr. Evans is a great surgeon. He took the time to explain the process and all the possibilities.Although my foot swells up, it hurts at times,I walk with a limp and my old shoes don't fit.It could've been worse.Thank you Dr. Evans for everything.

Had surgery for a broken arm in August 2017. After surgery I was scheduled to have stitches removed in three weeks! Normal suture removed is 10 -14 days max! I called my orthopaedist at TOA and scheduled an appointment for 14 days. At this visit, most sutures were removed, but I continued to have problems with the undissolvable sutures that were placed under my skin. Dissolvable sutures are normally used under the skin. Also had billings issues that Blue Cross is still trying to resolve.
