Very attentive and professional!
He had obviously reviewed advance information about my medical issues. Was very professional and thorough! Spent considerable time reviewing my symptoms and offering information about potential future needs. I am impressed by his knowledge and demeanor!

Dismissive
In a big hurry. Minimized serious topics. Thought my comments and questions were humorous . Bloodwork and MRI showed multiple issues.Left the room as I was talking. Definitely less than 15 minutes, maybe 10. People take their visits to a neurologist so seriously. Outcomes are potentially very frightening. Only submitting this in the hope Dr. Ignatius takes more time and understands people’s concerns in the future.

Dr Ignatius himself was Ok to deal with, but doesn’t really listen to you and just wants to throw a bunch of pills at you and injections, instead of trying to figure out the problem. His PA Sarah Yarger is even worse, both times I seen her she was extremely uncaring, apathetic, and downright rude. I was literally in tears from being up 4 days straight with neuralgia nerve pain in my jawbone and she shrugged and told me to take ibuprofen. Don’t waste your time here.

Find a different Dr
I had several tests done. I have white matter lesions on my brain. Never did he ever discuss my results with me. I called and told them I no longer need to be seen because obviously it's not serious since he never discussed my results with me. They then decide to do another test looking for epilepsy which I told them I do not have. But I did the test . And you guessed it never discussed results. The resepectionist said there were insignificant findings??? Ok with does that mean. Well no nurse or Dr has called me so. I will call them again and tell them I no longer wish to be a patient. And I need all my records.

Unsympathetic and Dismissive
I saw Dr. Ignatius in October 2022 for a movement disorder I developed in June of the same year. After a four month wait to get in, I was very disappointed with how it went. The doctor barely looked up from his computer at me, and from the moment he walked in it seemed as if he just wanted to get it over with. My concerns and symptoms were heavily downplayed and not taken very seriously, despite the fact that it has been almost completely debilitating. He repeatedly said I’d be “better suited towards a psychiatrist” and that he “treats people with epilepsy, headaches, etc.” and even laughed at some of my serious questions. My psychiatrist was caught off guard and heavily disagreed when I relayed this to him. I left the appointment with nothing other than more appointments months away, a dose increase on my meds, and a feeling that I was just crazy. I was not listened to or taken seriously, and do not plan to go back to Dr. Ignatius unless I need an old school diagnosis of “hysteria”

I have had two in-person and one virtual appointments with this physician. I have pain and twitching in my arms which is clearly painful. He referred me earlier to a rheumatologist. My testing with that doctor all came back negative. During my last visit with Dr. Ignacius, he entered the room and sat looking at his computer. He asked me a few questions to which I responded briefly. Again, he never looked up from his computer. He is obviously frustrated that he can’t offer me a diagnosis. That, I understand. However, at what seemed to be the conclusion of today’s visit, he stood up and pushed his computer cart out the door without saying anything further to me. I was to assume that the appointment was over. As I exited the exam room, I looked to my right and he was sitting in his office. I came close to going over to have a brief word for him. That would have accomplished nothing. Oh well, I guess that was a wasted trip to DuBois. Hopefully the Doctor had a better day following my visit

Never discussed the results of testing done (twice). He changed the dosage of my medication but at my next appointment he clearly didn't know my dosage or how often it was taken. Again changed my medication but the pharmacy had no new prescription come in. Extremely poor medical/patient care!

Excellent care! He and his staff have been great. They have continued to monitor and search for a diagnosis. After struggling for years to find proper care I feel I have found a great team willing to work to help me get better..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Dr Ignatius treated me like less than a human being. He ignored the syptoms I gave him, and after describing my muscle pains, he squeezed my arms hard and when it made me cry he laughed it off, all in front of 3 of my children. He belittled my intelligence and told me I just drank too much coffee. I found someone else who listened and just returned from having brain surgery. A surgery that was needed to not only take the extreme pain away that I lived in everyday but also to save my life.
