Not what I expected
I have been going to Colorado Pain Care for 2 years. The PT was wonderful till the therapist left. I have had a number of injections. The only time I was face to face with Dr Krutsch was in the procedure room. He said Hi, I never had a discussion with him nor a follow up on the response to his injection. I saw several different nurse practitioners. I finally left the practice after a visit where my provider was changes without notification or approval. The newly assigned provider left me waiting for over an hour while she saw other patients because I “had so many tests to review”. I had had head to hip MRI to look at the current state of my degenerative spinal arthritis. I don’t know which patients Dr Krutsch sees but I never had an office visit or consultation with him. Perhaps you will elicit more physician care then I experienced.I am also now being charges for a bill that is from over two years ago.

NO HELP AVAILABLE!!!!!!
He is great. His staff and billings department are abyssmal. I have been trying to correct billing mistake for over a year. I have spent hours on the phone with the off shore billing department that can't help me. The people at the front desk refer me to billing department that can't help me. I have left double digit messages on the voice mail of Joe Mitchell, the operations manager, over the span of six weeks with out a single returned phone call. I can not longer make appointments because they want me to add to $1000+ dollars I have paid out of pocket because they can't bill correctly. Nobody that can be reached can help me. Nobody that can help me will contact me.I think it might be time to find a new pain management practice.

Awesome experience yet!
I’ve been around doctors for myself and family members for years, so I immediately know a good dr./their office right away! I go to the Lakewood location and absolutely adore it. It’s super clean, has ALL nice employees, the PA I had to speak to to get any procedures was amazing. Libby Hammond was thorough, nice, went over my entire imaging records and explained what they said. She’s ordered more imaging so as of right now she’s prescribing me pain medicine. Now, back to Dr. Krutsch: I’ve met him before the procedure and spoke during. He has a very good bedside manner, is efficient and kind. I hope what he did helped but if it didn’t, I’m still going to keep having them done cause they don’t always take the first time. The only bad thing about this place is that they must have 2 phone operators cause it takes a long time to contact someone unless you ask to speak to a supervisor. All else is great though!!!

Dr. Krutsch is great, Colorado Pain Care practice is a hot mess. They cannot get a prescription right to save their lives. They sent me to Lakewood for a procedure and then sent me home since it was scheduled incorrectly. Then, when I call to complain about all the mistakes, I am fired from the practice for getting emotional on the phone. Dr. Krutsch is an awesome doctor that I can no longer see because his facility can’t get themselves together. I guess standing in the frigid cold trying to get the procedure facility to open their doors when I’m doubled over in pain is not cause to get emotional according to Colorado Pain Care. In their ultimate service to the patient, I am left without care for my pain. Thank you for that Colorado Pain (Non)Care.

Only saw him for 6.5 mins. on initial visit and nurses would not let me schedule an appointment with him because he doesn't come over to "that side" of the clinic. Read my review on Colorado Pain Care's website.

Stay away from Colorado pain!! They did the wrong procedure on me. You never actually get to talk to a doc even before procedures, they just don’t care to discuss 5ings with you. And they treat women like we are stupid n make us owe in a cup every time, instead of signing a pregnancy waiver. Aweful place.

I quit coming to this clinic when I only got to see the Dr. if I was having a procedure I would only get to see the PA I was constantly getting wrong prescriptions for different patients the dates were wrong my ua cups had other patients names on them. Danielle at the front desk was beyond rude & would talk about me in front of me to others I finally had enough & was able to see a different Dr. & got better care. I never felt so demeaned in my life Danielle was horrible to me & allowed to be!!

Never would I ever consider going to any other Pain Management doctor and facility other than Colorado Pain for all of my Pain Management care. Dr. Krutsch puts the care of his patients first and foremost, and the quality of care that myself and everyone who I've referred to him is second to NONE. The entire staff from the time you walk in the door until you leave exemplifies care, understanding, compassion, and patience with everything that they do. Dr. Krutsch and his staff are a blessing!!

I have transient chronic pain. After a lot of time and money,no real improvement. Almost every visit started with an incorrect order for my procedure so I had to get that straightened out before they started. I like all the docs and almost all staff, but I finally quit when I could not get a return call to discuss my concerns. I had several procedures, but did not meet Dr Krutsch until I requested that he come into one of my visits. Appointments were all with nurse practitioner.

Dr Krutsch is an outstanding provider who is extremely attentive to the needs of patients. Every time I see him, he genuinely cares about how the treatments are helping. He also remembers things we’ve talked about in the past, which makes me feel like a unique individual. Every other doctors office makes me feel like I’m just a number and that is not the case with this practice or Dr Krutsch.

Most compassionate, kind & knowledgeable doctor ever! I traveled all the way back from Alabama to have a back procedure. I had always previously used sedation because I was anxious. Because I was flying out the next day I went without the sedation this time. OMG what a gentle doctor. He told me if I felt uncomfortable at all to let him know and he would slow down the injection. Completely painless. And I have no pain in my neck, lft or rgt arms. I love all of the staff at Col Pain! Thank you!

Colorado Pain Clinic & Dr. Krutsch really provide great care. While fast, you never feel that you are in a hand burger stand of flip'm and serve'm. All the employees are attentive to your needs and always ask if they need anything more. I've been going to pain clinics both in Colorado and California for five years on a regular basis and feel certain that you would be hard pressed to do better than Dr. Krutsch and Colorado Pain.
