Very bad guy
I went to my meditation refill appt , the day before I started hurting really bad in my upper back with every breath I took ! And would get stabbed through my back and right Breast ! He got mad at me for mentioning my issue ! I was wasting time !!!! I ended up going to the ER and had pneumonia in my lung ! Then asked for some more antibiotics and he told me I didn’t have pneumonia, my lung was collapsed. Go to med check!!!

Does not listen, terrible experience
He was arrogant and condescending from the onset. He was determined very early in the visit that my symptoms (headache, nasal drip (yellow), wheezing chest cough, coughing up phlegm (yellow), low grade fever, sneezing (I didn’t get to say), and watery eyes (I didn’t get to say) were either COVID, RSV or the flu because “that’s what is going on now after all it is winter”. Then he asked if I had a COVID test I started to say “yes I did a home” and then didn’t wait for me to finish my answer before telling me it’s viral, was not prescribing any antibiotics and will just have to run its course. I tried to tell him that I do have a history of and he interrupted again saying each virus is different and this was not one that needs an RX. I asked for suggestions for OTC meds which he answered then abruptly left without another word… Never again.

Dr. Lewis shows empathy and concern for his patients. He asks, "How are you?" and really wants to know the answer. If there is an issue he will say, "How can I help?". He answers patient portal question in a timely fashion. I feel like he's in my corner rooting for me in all aspects of life. 1) I hate it now that he stands instead of sits. It feels like he is towering over me. 2).I like a one stop shop and he likes to refer out. 3) I like to come prepared or be at least a little knowledgeable. I think he prefers the ones that don't as needy :-) Those three are nothing in comparison to the ethical and kind treatment I get from Dr. Jason Lewis.

Dr. Lewis admittedly "dropped the ball" & did not review blood tests from a 2016 visit for swollen lymph nodes. A year later & 2nd visit (Lewis out on vacation) to his NP, she promptly notified me results confirmed my blood work was dangerously out of normal ranges and had been in 2016 tests, requiring immediate visit to oncologist. As Dr. Lewis said, "thank god it was not cancer", but an autoimmune condition. No apology or f/up from him since. How disappointing!

At first he came across as a caring and patient doctor but by the second visit that all had changed. He did not properly evaluate the level of pain I was in and just assumed I was faking it. He walked out of my appointment as we were still discussing my options, With the words ” you have taken enough of my Time “. At that point I reminded him of who was paying who and he replied that it didn’t matter because the government is paying for anyway… My insurance is close to $1000 a month.

Dr. Lewis has been my doctor since he came to the office and he is wonderful. I have had some really tough health issues and he did not give up until I finally got a correct diagnosis from a specialist. He listened to me and most importantly to me, he believed me when I told him something just wasn't right. He is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have no doubt I would not have a correct diagnosis if it were not for Dr. Lewis being persistent in finding the right specialists to send me to.

I had back problems. They ordered x-rays on the wrong part of my back. When I called to ask the office (from the radiology dept) if they could send orders for the part of the back that actually hurt, I was told Dr. Lewis did not like being told what to do. I was in FL and had vertigo from allergies. I called and asked if he could call something in for the vertigo (non-narcotic) and was told he did not write Rx for doctors in FL??? I just needed something called into CVS. I'm done.
