Dr. Jason Luksich, MD

Saw him in October 22 for cataract evaluation. Lasted about 37 seconds, no kidding. He's not interested in a patients needs, he acts like a robot. Handed me a 4-page handout which he had copied from a famed Los Altos eye surgeon. I said "no thank you"... After an unfortunate mishap at that Los Altos surgeon, I asked Sutter Santa Cruz (Mr. Luksich's office) for help in getting my second eye done. But what I get from Dr. Luksich (per his notes on myhealthonline as he's too much of a coward to respond to me directly), he tells his colleagues here to stay away from me! I guess that means I'm a bad patient? When do these doctors get off their power trip and focus on Healthcare? Oh, I forgot, I'm old and

I didn't choose this doctor, PAMF just assigned him. When I met with him about cataracts, I found him to be a poor communicator. He had not looked at my record or the referral information from his colleague [in the same office]. He asked me technical questions that he would have found in my chart. Then when it came time to talking about cataract surgery, he said I had 3 options and mine was a very different case. It went round and round explaining in medical terms the various differences, and left me totally confused. I asked what he would advise, and he handed me a brochure and told me to read it. If he is a good surgeon, he should stick to that because I left with no confidence in him. I have an appointment with another doctor in another group. PAMF is not the only group in town.
