This review is mostly about Jason Meier. I was referred by to him by my PCP 2x's. Both times was based on my labs. I had 4 results that were out of range. Granted if one was taken by itself then it could be understood that it was just a fluke. However all 4 test were out of range and all 4 were directly related to red cell production, T-Cell and white cells. Both times this man refused to take me, even to consider that if taken together all 4 being out of range is saying something. What is more, my labs were consistent every time they were taken. In other words, every time my labs were taken these 4 were always out of range. But again this man refused to take me. Now consider the labs with the symptoms. I have bleeding gums, unknown cause of bruising, red and purple spots that appear on my skin and then some will start to bleed. Bleeding from my ears, and sweat bleeding. Very bad pain in the 'bone', yes I can tell. I had a list of symptoms, along with the out of range labs. Yet it was

Rude and dismissive
This person showed no interest in helping my daughter with the problem we were sent their for. He came in immediately putting down the dr that sent us there and he would not listen to much of anything else we had to say. A huge waste of our time as we now have to start over and find a real dr that cares about patients. Don’t bother with this one!

I was so scared and do disappointed.
This Dr was less than helpful, today. Never asked me my symptoms, never asked if I had any questions, and was in my room less than 3 minutes. Extremely thankful for the staff for resolving my issue, right away. I switched Dr’s before I left. Had he asked me any questions he would have known I had underlying diseases ailments some that coincide with why I was there. Also, I started to cry and told him that I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. As he walked out the door, with tears in my eye, he said, “I don’t think there’s going to be any way I can help you with that”. He gave me no tissue, he gave me no guidance or anything. The least he could have done was to say “if we can’t help you we will find somebody who can”. But he just left.

Bad
I had a good healthy heart. My ejection fraction was 60-65. He was supposed to end herceptin infusions, instead he began a new herceptin infusions program. He gave me too many infusions and NEVER monitored my heart. So, by the time I got to Vanderbilt Hospital my ejection fraction wad less than 10. The cardiologists gave me 2 days to live without meds. Several weeks with meds. The cardiologists worked SO hard to save me. I am still very sick after 7 months. My ejection fraction is now 19. I am on a fluid restriction 2000ML and a food restriction, no sodium. My health has been ruined and my finances. Do not go to him.

Our experience with Dr. Meier was less than satisfactory. Did not feel that he was properly involved in in my Mothers diagnosis or treatment. Divorced himself from her deteriorating condition and left it to the hospital doctors to handle. Poor communication and interaction. Would not recommend.
