A Troubling Experience and Loss
I went to Novick for help with foot pain. He strongly recommended paying out of pocket, as “Insurance won’t pay for orthotics.” A quick “evaluation” and even quicker wrapping of my foot in the wet cloth, waiting to dry, then sign a form, and told it would be a month (it was six weeks). Going back for pickup, I was handed a clear bag with two things with heels on the bottoms that were flat as a pancake in the forefoot, unlike my feet. After examining them, I called and said they weren't right and was told to come in and bring them for a refund. Later that day, I got a call from someone else, who told me there were no refunds. Back to the office again, I showed the inappropriate shape and features, and requested a refund. The reply was to make an appointment for Novick to “trim them” down to fit, which wouldn’t help the shape and so declined. Novick just said, “Then I can’t help you.” A troubling experience and loss.

Shameful
I have never had an experience like this, personally or in all of my years as a caregiver for people with disabilities. They should be ashamed of themselves. This was the strangest appointment I have ever been to, I have had foot problems for 20 years, after leaving messages for months I finally got an appointment, to which the front desk lady was rude and insisted my referral was incorrect, he barely talked to me for 2 minutes, I paid $50 copay for him to give me the name of a shoe repair place on a post-it, only for me to call them and sure enough, they couldn’t help me without a prescription or measurements from the doctor. I can only assume they didn’t want to deal with my insurance? I have never been treated like that, he told me whatever he could to get me out the door. I knew the shoe repair store couldn’t do anything without measurements from a doctor since I’ve had custom shoes in the past, Dr. Novick said they could “figure it out”. He made sure to get my copay before I left!

Dr. Novick saw me immediately since I was to travel the next week and I couldn't walk without pain. He treated the problem and within a day, I could walk again comfortably.

Podiatry care and treatments
I have been a patient of Dr. Novick for several years for Podiatry issues and treatments. I have always found great treatment outcomes, timely, well planned office visits, appointment reminders are good, schedule of patients appointments set to reduce wait times to a very minimal. Highly recommended on my behalf after 40 years in the medical field as Director of Radiology/Cardiopulmonary/Cardiac Imaging/EEG

This man medically blacklisted me for posting a review . As a result I may have permanent injuries. Surgery that should have occurred within a month took 11 months. I will never be the same again. He completely missed my bone spur on my MRI, did not give me any travel instructions, and told doctors in the area via my medical chart that I sued him . Which is not true , but it will be . I have hard proof of all of these things and 24 months later I still can’t walk. If I had gotten surgery in a timely matter I would not be permanently disabled. I contacted the district supervisor, the media, And I am filing an official medical complaint. There are no words to describe this .

I'm a runner and have been nursing Achilles Tendonitis for years. Dr Novick examined and x-rayed and his recommendation for treatment was spot on. No surgery and I'm running without pain. The advice I was getting all these years from PT's and others was just plan wrong. I guess not all AT issues are the same and not treated the same. Plus the staff was great and didn't wait long. I have already recommended to others.
