Great experience
Office staff was great and friendly. Dr. Smart was easy to talk to and very concerned that I was getting the best care possible including making sure we got all my information sent over from my previous optometrist before getting contacts to make sure they were the best fit for me. Often I feel optometrists and opthalmologists are eager to sell contacts or glasses as if it's a marketing commission but I never once felt that with Dr. Smart or his staff. Looking forward to the next appt.

He was gentle and very knowledgeable, suggesting a type of protective glasses for wearing when I go climbing mountains around here.

BOTH my surgeries with Dr. Smart went like clockwork. His staff were like a well-oiled machine. They were personable, patient, and extremely helpful in ensuring that I would receive the best care possible. And I did. Thanks to Dr. Smart I won't need to wear glasses (Except maybe for reading) ever again. If you have a serious eye problem be smart and call Dr. Smart. You'll be glad you did. Mike Christ 5-19-20

Before surgery I am a 79 year old man whose sight had gradually diminished as the years passed. Without realizing it, I came to live in a dimmed and overcast world. A world where sharp edges had been replaced with a lot blurred edges and, honestly, a blurred everything else. Question If you had a youth pill, would you take it? I did. The pill I took was in the form of cataract surgery. Some days after I looked up and saw the sky. The true sky. It was surprisingly different and undeniably better. It was and is beautiful beyond comprehension. The clouds were bright white and so wispy they were only barely there. They were happily slow dancing in a pale pastel blue heaven. This could only be a creation designed by God. The wonders continued. All colors are vivid and vibrant and continue to introduce themselves by displaying multitudes of forgotten shade variations. The clear vision of youth has been restored. It is a gift I open anew every morning. Thank you,

Met him just recently at New Eyes. Personable and talked to you face to face very important for not being able to hear well. Was running very late for our appointment but was apologetic and sincere. Like him and encourage him to be very up front with patient.
