Dismissive and disrespectful
Dr. Gill should NOT be working at a pain clinic with chronic pain patients. Telling patients that pain is part of life when they are there for pain treatment is absolutely gaslighting after they have been to so many other doctors for treatment and this is their last resort. It felt so dismissive and disrespectful to hear him speak about my experience with pain as if I should be just dealing with it when I was told by him to come back for treatment and he then completely dismissed me and told me to live with it. I will be seeking treatment elsewhere and warn anyone else to stay far away from Dr. Gill.

Dismissive, Negligent
Dr. Gill is dismissive and always rushed. His only priority seems to be getting you out the door ASAP.He does not explain the side effects of the meds he prescribes. I had a bad reaction to one of them, told him at the next appointment, and he prescribed me another medication that caused a similar bad interaction. He did not warn me. I found out at the pharmacy.Today I came in 15 min. early to my appt at 2:30. I waited for over an hour and got so fed up I left. Why stay just to be made to feel stupid by a dr again? He also took a patient who arrived late before he took me.I strongly believe Dr. Gill should recieve some sort of training or recertification before he continues to practice. From the other reviews I can see I am not alone.

Slow calling back, misinformation to patient
Prior to having a spinal cord stimulator trial, I was handed misinformation about the maker of the equipment.

The most dismissive medical experience I've ever had. I was referred here by another specialist after dealing with intermittent sciatic nerve pain for about a year, and minimal progress being made to relieve it despite months of physical therapy. An MRI showed a mild herniated disk, which, coupled with my sciatic symptoms, was the likely cause of the pain down the back of one leg (agreed upon by two other doctors and a physical therapist who also saw the MRI reading). Dr. Gill's only advice was "pain is a part of life" and "don't be a couch potato." I would not recommend Dr. Gill.

Dr. Gill is by far the best doctor I have ever had! He is caring, compassionate and he listens to his patients. I have had chronic pain for the last 20 years and I have seen many doctors. Dr. Gill "genuinely" cares about his patients and he has tried many different avenues to relieve my pain and improve the quality of my life. I highly recommend him to anyone I know who is in need of a pain doctor. I am very lucky to have Dr. Gill for my doctor!

Led me astray for years, making me think all symptoms were just in my head. I ended up listening to him that I did not need an EMG as other doctors eventually felt I did. Now I am diagnosed with MG. He was extremely rude and mocking every time.

Was not helpful at all. I did a phone consult, felt he was rude, said medication wise, I’ve been on it all, not true. Asked me when my last MRI was I said years ago, he said it was in 2019. Like I remember off the top of my head when I had one done. He suggested I go to a Hospital closer to me. I stated that the did nothing and were useless. Thats why I spend half a day going into Boston to get better care. If it was in my town, don’t you think I would be going there. Maybe we got off on the wrong foot. I really do hope. that he is better than what I experienced today. I will go for my injection, but already looking for another doctor.

He is the most compassionate doctor. He restored my mom from chronic pain and minor mobility to walking up to two miles a day. My mom was elderly, and I appreciated that he spoke to her, and not ask me the questions.

After seeing numerous other doctors within the Arnold Pain Center and outside, I finally was referred to Dr Gill. He has an extremely pleasant attitude and said that if I would do my part, he would make me better. He has. Best result in six years. I recommend him without hesitation.
