Felt rushed and dismissed
I went to Dr. Akram with joint pain and a skin issue. He did not have advice for the joint pain other than to see a specialist, which I understood and thought was somewhat reasonable. When I brought up my skin issue, he said I was too young to be on medication for it. I know others my age who are on medication for this issue and I thought his comments were dismissive and misguided. The appointment lasted between 5-10 minutes and I did not feel like my health issues were taken seriously.

Not a good Doctor
Dr. Akram is more interested in billing opportunities and increasing bureaucracy than finding out about my history and reasoning for asking for one of the only FDA approved medications I have been successful with as a temporary measure. He's only going to do a referral to a weight management specialist. Well increase cost and time off work, and ignore my history and my request.
