He rushed through the appointment, took very little concern with my symptoms, barely looked at my previous bloodwork that I brought to the appointment, and basically said 'your symptoms do not meet the marks to be a rheumatological issue'. My symptoms were life altering. I was 24 years old and completely home bound and dependent on the care of my parents. Two months later (with a different rheumatologist) I was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease which is an autoimmune condition. He was just pretty terrible, I would suggest going elsewhere. Also, his front desk staff was rude. I'd like to think that the woman was just having a bad day but she was extremely snappy and difficult to deal with. Again, I would seek treatment elsewhere.

Neutral
Wasnt really who I wanted to see because of how young he is.I prefer an older seasoned dr.He was a bit dismissive on some of my concerns.I spoke about syrogens ..his exact words were I'm not concerned about that .People need to stop lying on the reviews about drs being thorough..He presented neutral..but,Im a nurse and would never be dismissive towards any pts concerns..havnt found the right ra dr most seem to be a joke and unprofessional with out excellent bedside mannerism..Im here but I cant say I would recommend anyone because I wasnt impressed..

BEWARE of their billing services.
My insurance is CIGNA. They are charging me $50 co-pay and $240 for facility fees because according to them, Dr. Quintero doesn't owe the office where he sees patients. This is the first time I am being billed separately for a 'facility fee'. This was their answer to my inquiry about this charge: 'Please know that there will always be two charges for one date of service at the Cleveland Clinic:1. The Physician/Professional charges are for the actual person who performed the services (sometimes there may be more than one physician/professional charge billed, depending on the procedure or service rendered). 2. The Hospital/Technical charges are the actual procedure, the room, supplies and equipment used, etc. The facility and/or treatment room charge is the result of Cleveland Clinic's physician offices and outpatient clinics being classified as hospital outpatient, also called provider-based facilities.' NEVER AGAIN.

Would Recommend
He did not rush the appointement, made you feel comfortable. Very easily to understand. Dr. Betancourt took his time asking questions, and did not rush me to answer. I would recommend him for anyone looking for quality care.
