Dr. Gonzales is a great doctor. My regular heart doctor is Dr Rabinowitz, who is also a wonderful doctor. He referred me to Dr. Gonzales for my heart surgery. Dr. Gonzales is the one who performed my heart.surgery in San Antonio about one year ago. Both are wonderful doctors, and I am very happy with both them. Everyone who works out of the office in Kerrville is very friendly. I highly recommend South Texas Cardiovascular Associates.

This last visit in January went according to schedule; however, he wanted to see me in August — but his office cancelled 3 appointments for a variety of reasons. Fortunately, I wasn’t having any problems. If I was, I would have to change to another Doctor! I think Dr Roman-Gonzalez is spread too thin!

Dr. Roman-Gonzalez saved my life! I don’t say that lightly but with all sincerity. When my heart abnormalities we’re discovered following a non-heart related surgery, he engineered the year-long process to correct my heart issues. His strategy consisted of starting with the most minimally invasive procedure and as necessary he moved on to more involved procedures, never putting me at more risk than absolutely necessary.
