Thoracentesis
Dr. Zafar performed a thoracentesis. Dr. Zafar never introduced himself or greeted me. I never even saw him since the procedure is done through my back. An injection of local anesthetic is used to numb the area following by needle inserted to drain fluid. Dr. Zafar does not wait even 5 seconds for the local anesthetic to start working before inserting the drainage needle which is very painful. I've had this experience many times with both Zafar nor Qureshi and assume neither has any concerns over patient pain. If I had any choice I would definitely go elsewhere for treatment.

I was hospitalized with a major blood clot in my leg last week and thanks to Dr Zafar and his partner Dr Qureshi they were able to remove the clot safely from my leg in a very quick and professional manner. These 2 doctors made sure that every question was answered and made me feel at ease during this difficult time. I would recommend them to anyone who might need their services. Great docotors!!
