Saved my sight
This is for service in 2001. After a disastrous attempt to repair a retinal detachment, we were referred to Dr Federman by the department head of ophthalmology at Wake Forest Medical school In Winston-Salem. We made the trip to Philadelphia and saw Dr Federman. He was able to repair my retina using silicone, and laterremove the silicone, which to this day a number of procedures on friends In Winston have not. I am so thankful to have functional vision in my right eye, which over the years has become correctable with glasses. We are really glad we made the trip to Philly.
