I just wanted to live a positive review because Dr Jurkowitz deserves better than such low rating. However, this is a retroactive review so maybe he is indeed not doing too well right now. I was Dr. Jurkowitz patient in 2012-2013 and he did a very good job which is why I am leaving this review. First of the staff was nice, polite and did their job. And the doctor was very helpful and very understanding. Yes, he is definitely not organaized but he is the only one who told me the truth. Thanks.

I first met Dr. Jurkowitz in October 1997 as a patient at Cedars-Sinai. At the time, I was with another doctor. I can honestly claim that if I had continued to see the other doctor, I'd be dead. Dr. Jurkowitz is from the old school of medicine: He is concerned with his patients only. Not insurance, etc. Dr. Jay is also one of the smartest man I've met. He studied history and I can only assume he was in the top of his class. Thank you Dr. Jurkowitz, you're the best !!

Dr. Jurkowitz is disorganized and lacked concern for my medical issue. He is very disorganized with stacks of patient records on his desk. His demeanor is that of a tired lack luster person &lazy. He refused to fulfill the authorized referral by doing any legitimate exam, instead he took a ink pen and ran it up/down my arms & legs (3min) mumbling abt wanting my medical history. Found out he did a Lit Rev based on my records in lieu of real examination. NO integrity, bad treatment; wasted my time

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor in my life. I should've walked out when I saw the extreme disorganization of files and records in his office. There were piles all over the floors, on desks, it looked like a hoarder?s home. Then he was arrogant and snarky, not acknowledging my concerns about why my doctor recommended I see a Neurologist in the first place. Ultimately, he told me to get an MRI for M.S., which I had no symptoms for or issues about.
