I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mehlman for many years. I was in terrible shape when I first met him and now I have my life back. His office is very efficient and has taken good care of me all along.

I see the doctor at his rockaway beach office and can't say enough about the excellent care i have received by Dr Mehlman I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a caring and dedicated doctor

I have a prescription with Dr. Mehlman and was informed that the pharmacy refill the prescription because he is out of the office for a week. I find it hard to believe that I have to go without my medication for a week. Why isn't there another doctor on call to refill the medication? I would not recommend this doctor because of this experience and plan to find another Gastroenterologist.

Dr. Mehlman is very a very good Gastroenterologist. I've always had digestion issues and because I was young many doctors dismissed my condition and said it was due to diet. Through blood work and other procedures we found out that I was having issues absorbing nutrients and suspected a mild IBD. This lead to a colonoscopy which saved my life because I had a fast growing tumor. He is a caring person and has really great staff at his RP location. He also has his own office where he does procedure
