ER visit
i had Dr. Tennie on my third visit to the ER within 5 days. i had pneumothorax in both my lungs though minor it still caused problems. i came in a third time late at night with tight chest and difficulty breathing after being released earlier in the day and Dr. Tennie came in introduced himself and seemed nice at first. i had an x ray done shortly after and then he came back in and explained that i am ready to leave and that my pneumothorax was the same and these are the symptoms i’ll have to suffer with. for the record i had quite a bit of shortness of breath and chest tightness and pain than he seemed to ignore so i explained to him that no i don’t feel good there’s something wrong and he kept trying to dismiss it and had a attitude with me. He even tried to say my pain was soreness and compared it to getting your appendix out. anyways finally after i had an oxygen walking test and my oxygen was dropping he had me hospitalized. the intense arguing i had to do was ridiculous with him

ER Visit done right
Wound up in the ER with a re-occurring issue, Dr. Tennie ordered the right tests and on the follow up about the tests, he was matter of fact about treatment plan and what I needed to do in the coming days. I feel he did a good job fot the circumstance

Cold, disrepectful, uncaring, dismissive, poor lis
Dr. Tennie made it clear he thought I was fabricating symptoms to get attention. He mocked my report of low blood ox and low heart rate from home pulse oxymeter. He seemed to order tests with reluctance, to humor me. He failed to report the extreme whole-body tremors that initiated the epidode, and reported chest pain which I assured him I had never experienced. Later, after I called the hospital about this totally untrue report of chest pain, it appears he removed it.

Elderly ER patient – Oct 02, 2022

Awful
This doctor was the worst. He took no time to explain my condition or answer any questions. I saw him for a total of 30 seconds when he walked in, told me what my CT scan showed, told me what meds he was giving me, and walked back out. So bad it was comical! And the ER was not super busy. I’m not sure he wasn’t a robot!!!!

Cincypatient – Jun 29, 2022

This was one of the rudest doctors I have ever communicated with in my life. My father came back to the ER for the 2nd time after having a heart attack just a week earlier, Dr. Tennie came in for about a minute and said he didn't know what was causing my dad's problems and that they would more thank likely admit him to the hospital. I had some additional questions I wanted to ask, instead of answering my questions he said okay and walked out of the room. I understand he may not know everything that is going on with my father, but the mere fact that I asked a question and he just walked out of the room is baffling to me. As a health care professional it's your job to listen to your patients, not just walk out after a question is asked. If we ever came back to the ER and he was the attending provider I would personally ask for another doctor. The unprofessionalism that was provided was just unbelievable.
