Dr. Jay White, MD

I went to his office after moving to Tennessee and had no issues with his NP but when it was decided to have a hysterectomy his rudeness began. During my surgical consult with him, he decided to do a biopsy and made nasty remarks about how this would hurt him more than me, all while shaking his head. When I finally had the hysterectomy I had complications and all he kept saying to me was that it was all in my head and he would call me in Lorazepam to help. Turns out I had a serious infection, but because I had no fever he could not believe it. Ended up having to have my husband come to any follow up appointments because he would say something to me then lie during our next conversation. He spent most of our interactions 'gaslighting me'. DO NOT SEE THIS PROVIDER

I have seen Dr. White for a couple of years now, and he is very knowledgeable and personable. I have actually switched my pcp to a Galen provider so I can have all of my health providers assessable on my patient portal. All of his staff is wonderful! Their turn around times for my lab results and questions are usually within the same business day! I'd give them a 10/10!!!

Horrible doctor. I was referred to Dr. White because of excessive vaginal bleeding which turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy that almost cost me my life. Dr. White never did a pregnancy test even though I was not on birth control and completely dismissed the shoulder pain I was having that is a known symptom of ectopic pregnancies. He actually wanted to put me on birth control to try and control the bleeding. I ended up in the ER in the middle of the night weeks after I first saw him with an ectopic pregnancy that was far enough along to burst the fallopian tube and had to have emergency surgery because I had lost so much blood. Two of his associates visited me in the hospital after the surgery but he did not. I had one visit with him after than and he was extremely condescending and dismissive while trying to explain why he missed it. His office did take care of my hospital and surgery bills but I was left with only one ovary and one scarred fallopian tub.

He may be good for older females, but I don’t feel he is attune to younger females. He was demeaning and condescending. Not what I needed and definitely not what I expected.

This doctor does not respect women.

This was unfortunately a negative experience for me. When he noticed I used a Diva Cup he said, ‘yuck.’ I initially thought he said that bc he knew of some dangers, but no...he just thought it was gross. He started treating me oddly when I shared my medical history and when it came time for the pelvic exam he gave no warning before inserting the speculum which made my physically recoil. I chose Galen bc I’ve always had positive experiences with wonderful doctors but I suppose there is always an exception to the rule.

After 3 miscarriages, Jay White narrowed down that I had low progesterone and make sure that my 4 pregnancy was a success. He's delivered both of my sweet baby girls and I will never see another ob/gyn. By far the sweetest most professional Doctor I have ever encounter in my whole life.

I can’t recommend Dr. Jay White enough. He is caring, professional, knowledgeable and overall a wonderful human being. Dr. White listens to your concerns without judgement and then helps to remedy the problem. I can’t imagine going to anyone else for my health care. He is truly awesome and if I were still having children-he would be the one to bring them into the world. Now it’s just maintaining my female health-Thanks Dr. White??

I know God was with us when trying for our baby boy that is now 5 months old, just thank God that Dr White seen us through in what God had instored for us! DR WHITE WAS UNCERTAIN ABOUT US GETTING PREGNANT AT FIRST BUT HE FOLLOWED PROCEDURE TO GIVE US THE SHOT TO HAVE ONE AND WE SUCCEDED , HE WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT WE WAS PREGNANT JUST 3 WEEKS AFTER SURGERY AND I CANT THANK HIM ENOUGH FOR HAVING FAITH! THANK YOU! WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO SEE RESULTS AND LISTENS!

Dr. White is by far the best OB/GYN anyone could ever want he is very special to me and he has helped me through my pregnancy and he is a blessing in my life
