Dr. Jean Demarchis Tabin, MD

I came to the Moran Eye Center Triage Clinic after having flashes in my eyes. Dr. Tabin was aware I had just had ICL surgery 3 months prior and still manhandled my eyes to check for a retinal tear. After all the manhandling, she still couldn’t say if I had a retinal tear and told me I had to see a retinal specialist. That night, my vision started slanting to the right. I am pretty darn sure she caused my ICL to rotate in my eye while she manhandled me. I now need to have a second eye surgery to reposition the ICL because of her. To make matters worse, I was checked by a retinal specialist 2 days later who confirmed my retinas were completely fine. He did not have to manhandle my eyes to check for a tear. Stay away!!!!!!

Dr. Tabin was condescending, did not listen to my situation/treatments that have been tried in the past without success. She denied my condition stating it was something completely different even though I have had this condition diagnosed by multiple other providers. I was seeking treatment from Dr. Tabin as my other providers were out of state. She refused to prescribe what I have had in the past (for 10 years) that worked due to long term consequences. Very poor & unhelpful, will not return.
