RP BOGOTA NJ My husband wrote a review about our experience with Dr. Emond and his team in 2016. Here is the update: it has been 4 years since he performed my pancreatoctomy. This was an unneeded procedure. For the past 4 years my life has been miserable!! My pain level has never been under 8. Up to date i have had 40 visits to the hospital which includes admissios,ER and ICU. I will never recommend this dr to anybody. SAVE YOURSELF. AND GO GET 2nd and 3rd opinions before having him touch you.

In 2002 my 3 year old niece had 1/2 her liver removed during a life saving operation. Then again today he saved my father. After being told 3 weeks ago by doctors that there was nothing they could do for him , dr Edmond removed his 17 cm , 5lb tumor from his liver. He is a super hero!

Dr. Emond performed a Distal Pancratectomy to my wife that was not necessary. A CT test showed a 1cm mass in the pancreas. During the surgery 70% of the pancreas was removed even tough there was not sign of malignancy (just an inflammation). We learned later that a Endoscopic Ultrasound with a thin needle (biopsy) was a less invasive option the he never mentioned to us. After the surgery she develop a pseudo-cyst, diabetes 1 and chron. pancrts and she is under pain management, and lost her job.
